A Night of Relaxation & Yoga
Last night set a "Breathe in good vibes; breathe out the stress of life and insecurities" type of mood.
Diamond Daughters founder Angela Deery kicked off the evening by welcoming everyone and presenting work DDC has done in the Philadelphia community thus far and plans for 2018.
She then handed the floor over to Lorisa Leigh from LiveFree, the Fitness and Detox Guru, who woke-up the audience to being mindful of how we treat our bodies. "As women, we worry more about what we put on our feet than what we put in our body. And our shoes can be thrown out, but our body is where we live for the rest of our lives!"
Kerri-Ann from S.E.L.F Growth Coaching followed by sharing insightful thoughts on the mindfulness of living the life of courage and purpose. "Happiness is not something you chase and catch, it's something you choose and create!"
With a healthy mindset we then entered into the practice of yoga with a sense of deliberation, led by Revolution Fitness Factory's Caitlin Kelly. "As you slow your breath, set a purpose for your practice. One for on your mat and one for off your mat."
The night was completed with raffle prizes and hugs. Everyone left with an excitement for the DDC events to come:
