Let us just say...

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Giving Tuesday, November 28th 2017, marked the official launch of the

Diamond Daughter Corporation.

Over 50 people came together to celebrate this momentous event!

Cedar Creek Catering brought warmth to all the attendees with delicious appetizers and hot apple cider. Delia Renee Photography buzzed through the crowd, snapping pictures and making everyone feel like a star. The ambiance of WeWork was welcoming with a relaxed vibe, that allowed everyone to feel right at home. The successful people of Philadelphia were glowing as they came together to network and encourage each other through the mission and understanding of DDC.

A presentation was given by our founder Angela Deery, outlining the vision and driving force behind DDC. “DDC is committed to lifting the head of every lady in the city and letting them know their value goes far beyond any blemish, circumstance or failure. DDC will focus on reassuring ladies of all ages, their purpose in life was never meant to squeeze into a model mold or be explained by TMZ. We want confidence to be found not in keeping up with the Kardashians or Jones, but within your own path, your own body and even in your own imperfections. Because we believe, that’s where the true beauty is found.”

She then went on to introduce the backbone of this vision; the members of the board:

Audrey Dellagranda, Kerri-Ann Buchanan, Tina Olive, Darcel Laurie, Lorisa Green-Depte, Mia Hollingsworth and Jennifer Ingram.

The highlight of the night was when 6 young ladies, from the first Diamond Daughter Course, spoke about their experience . The crowd felt empowered hearing the stories of how lessons of fashion, etiquette and power posing led these ladies to feel united and most of all free to fully express their genuine selves.

Afterwards attendees flocked to the Donation Table and the DDC in Your Community to be involved in multiple ways: financially, volunteering and ideas for future programs.

The night ended with the Diamond Daughter Necklace being raffled off to winner Jam Smith, who beamed as she was crowned with her prize.

The overall response was heartfelt and yearning for more, from all who participated.

If you were unable to attend this event, we have many more to come!
